Again a said story about a galgo, this time mutilated by an illegal trap, so much used and abused by hunters in Spain and they cost thausands of wild animals a horrible death in agony. Thanks to some very couragous rescue people, the dog had been operated, his front leg amputated and hopefully he will pull through. The helpers gave him the name CERVANTES like the author of DON QUIJOTE and we hope this famous name brings him luck. The first hurdle is allready taken and he has tested free of leishmania and tick diseases CERVANTES is now recovering form the surgery and will be staying with PRO-GALGO until he finds a forever home. On our webpage www.PRO-GALGO.org we will keep you informed about CERVANTES progress THESE PICTURES COULD HARM YOUR SENSIBILITY !!! www.noodles.virtualempire.com/all-galgo/galgos/cervantes.gif

Those traps are so frightening and cause so much suffering. Glad he was found and is now getting all the care and love he deserves.
