Urgent place for greyhound in Kent - this w/e!

Male grey, was in a pts situation - lady kindly stepped in - but can't keep him past Saturday (I assume Sunday at the latest).
Lovely, gentle, very big, so far kid friendly (with 7 year old), and ignoring cats but it's early days.
Desperate, urgent, desperate place needed - I have contacts for her if anyone needs them - email me on [e-mail].
Sorry for the short notice, but came back to the message (which was only posted today) after some time offline and have got details as quick as poss.

As per pm Elle is coming to us from Jules at Phoenyx tomorrow to give her some space and going to Anna!
Im sure Clare may have space for a male greyhound and have pmd you email addy!
If anyone with previous fostering experience of greyhounds would be willing to take him in on Gaps behalf if no where else can be found please pm me! Will need to be a home without cats if the cat status hasnt been thoroughly assessed as we dont want to tempt fate

I've spoken to Nikky, the girl who is currently caring for Finn. He needs to be out of there and up here ASAP. She is in Kent but is prepared to get him to South Mimms if it helps. I've been trying to get hold of friends in Hatfield with no success to do the next leg of the journey.

Can anyone help do South Mimms up the M1 a bit, and anyone else do the next leg? We are in Melton Mowbray, off M1 Junction 21A - can get as far south as Northants at a push but am needed at the kennels for the bulk of the day. Preferably tomorrow.

thanks to everyone whom was involved in helping Finn get to a safe haven at such short notice.

form the vet in broadstairs, jo and sally for phoning me, lisa for starting the whole process off.

chris for letting me stay with finn in her cat free house over the weekend and for driving us to south mimms service station.

terry and jo for doing the next leg of the journey, and whomever it was who took finn the last leg to white lodge.

claire for taking him in and for to all of those yet to be involved in the rehab, and rehoming still to come!

thirteen people involved in this case so far, make my heart warm to know that there are so many openhearted people to counteract the callous behaviour of just one racer/trainer

and thanks to lovely Finn, for the opportunity to share some lovely moments with him.. i know he will be a lovely companion for someone. A lovely soul whom deserves the love and security of a good home ..wish it could have been with me!
