Hi My Greyhound is 12yrs old she has been having problems with holding her wee over night for a few months. Three weeks ago in the day she started wetting in the house, she would go in the garden then come in and wee infront of you 5mins later. Took her to the vets who ruled out an infection and kidney problems by running tests but found her urine to be very diluted, normal dog is 130 hers is 110. Vet put her on pain meds to rule out pain. Took her back today as shes still drinkjng and weeing far to much, her wee is still dilute and shes now on strong antibiotics for 2 weeks even though no infection. Has anyone had the same with an elderly dog?
