Hi all Been a while since I posted anything Layla is fine in herself but is becoming fussy to feed. She is generally on Pets At Home Fishmongers Finest range of Salmon & Potato kibble & matching wet trays, and looks well on it, but she is starting not to want to eat it. So I have been looking at what other foods I can try, just to see if it is a boredom thing. I have tried several other well known brands of kibble (Barking Heads, James W, Wainwrights, Burns etc) but she seems no more interested. Then I stumbled on this.... Dodson & Horrell Pet GreyhoundI am no food scientist so the contents do not mean anything to me. Does it sound OK to more experienced people on here? Anyone else used it? I got a couple of sample bags from them and put half and half of the 2 kibbles in her bowl as an experiment and she ate all this new kibble exclusively? But that could be the equivalent of giving a child a choice between chocolate and salad! So not so meaningful perhaps Before I commit to buying a full 15kg bag I thought I'd ask. It does have good reviews on the website and is cheap at £25, but this is not about the money. If it cost £100 and she liked it I'd buy it, but most important is going to be good for her? Appreciate your thoughts peeps. Thanks K

We use Dr John Silver with tinned Chappie. Dr john silver was recommended to us as we didn't want anything that was going to upset stomachs and put to much weight on. We have had no problems and it is always eaten up. It's not expensive either.

We have used this food for nearly 4 years. It's also available through retired greyhound trust website. 2 x 15Kg bags for £40.
We often mix in some sardines, tuna, or Webbox to give it some extra taste. They've also started selling a new fish flavour (available end April i think).
My partner is a vet nurse and said this food is really good and full of everything a retired greyhound needs (including a good protein content :-)

Thanks for replies. I did place an order for 2 bags for £40 So far she is keener to eat this than her fish & potato kibble. I have her on this stuff in morning and fish kibble & fish wet tray in evening. Last night she only ate half of her meal so think I'll start swapping that over for this stuff as well. Stools are already a lot softer but nothing worrisome, but I am sure any concern there is from me picking it up than her doing it
