We are on standby to help but until we get sightings it really is a nightmare and like looking for a needle in a haystack! The owners need to poster EVERY surrounding area village from where she went missing, all vets and shops covering a large area need to have posters taken into and if possible visit farms in the local area with posters and ask them to check out buildings. SIGHTINGS are vitally important in instances like this and without them you have absolutely nothing to work with! ALSO please, please contact Staffordshire Moorlands Radio and ask them to put out an annoucement

Pubs are a good place too. That and Dog lost was how my friend's dog was found recently-walkers found her and went to a pub which had my friend's number behind the bar. A customer also recognized her from Dog lost also. Sadly I'm too far away to come and help all I can do is keep hoping she turns up safe and well

When we had our village shop, we were the hub for lost & found cats and dogs! It really is worth postering or spreading the word to anywhere people are likely to go. Hope this greyhound has found some cover on these cold nights

Thanks everyone. I think everything that can be done has been done now. Posters printed and put up everywhere, she's been on local radio, on the doglost website and everyone from postmen, binmen, pubs, shops vets etc have been asked to keep an eye out. They have hundreds of volunteers on stand by to help search but with no sightings still there is no clear area to start looking in unfortunately. Her family just feel so useless and are increasingly worried about her. Thanks for the advice and support here. I think it's everybody's worst nightmare and we can all imagine how devastated Izzy's family are feeling.

Two 'possible' sightings reported last night...one in Werrington and the other at Morridge Top, fairly close to where Izzy was last seen at Onecote on Tuesday. Everything crossed this is a breakthrough.

No joy this morning following up yesterday's sightings. They went up with their other dogs and looked on the farmland where Izzy was possibly spotted but she's nowhere to be seen. I know how full of hope they were this morning when they set off but now they feel like they're back to the start with nothing to go on. There's a new FB page been set up too called Find Izzy for anyone who wants to keep up to date or anyone with information.
Thanks again for all the good thoughts, I just wish she they'd found her this morning.

She's home! No details as yet but she's at home with cut pads and exhaustion but at least they've got her! Best news I've had all week.
Thank you everyone for your support
