I have just been reading the reviews for Billy No Mates, a herb supplement that is supposed to be a natural flea and tick repellent. I noticed that a good number of the reviewers have mentioned that it had helped with skin and allergy problems that nothing else had sorted. It might be worth having a read through them and see what you think. I was looking at CSJ website and amazon. Best wishes and healing thoughts for your girl

Thank you everyone for your help. I got some piriton and it actually seems to be working with the itch, despite the vet saying it wasn't worth trying! I got steroid spray from the vets so she doesn't have to actually take the steroids and its cleared most of her belly up. No idea what sets it off but if I can manage it more with the piriton and and odd steroids that's much better. Thank you

Glad you found something that works for your girl. Piriton works for my itchy terrier girl but I know it doesn't seem to help in every case.

How awful ... its so hard to find what they're allergic to but your diary should help ... my grey is very itchy on beef and wheat, my last lurcher got colitis if fed on most processed dog foods but I feed raw and he was fine.
You could try an exclusion diet and see if you can find something that'd suit him ... if you want to feed a complete diet there are some (Origen) with very exotic meats that'd be worth trying ..
Good luck with him
