Hi I am Carol and work at veterinary centre in Malpas Cheshire. One of clients has regularly asked me if i will take on his lurcher who he no longer wants. This dog has been kenneled for 12 months, has had no socialisation and is now apparantly causing nuisance by barking and is starting to become nervous agressive. He openly admits that he constantly shouts at her and says he really needs to be rid of her. If I cannot help him out he will PTS the dog. She is 12 months old,not vaccinated and still entire. I am happy to fund and arrange for vaccination and neutering but i cannot take her on as i already have 4 lurchers and live on a barge !! I really dont know what to do and it troubles me knowing what this little soul must be going through. Any suggestions ?

Hiya sadly we do not have any room at present. Greyhound Rescue West of England operate in that area so might be worth contacting them. If you search there website there is a national contact number

Oh how awful for the little girl.I dont know if you managed to find a space anywhere yet. But on FB you could try Lozzers Lurchers, or Lisa Lurcher, or try Kerry at BGP. Maybe Dogs Trust Kennilworth, or Ray Dedicoat at Hollytrees Animal sanctuary. Also try Wythall Animal Sanctuary. Good luck.Fingers and paws crossed for sky.
