We carried on giving thuja tabs and corn cushions but the corn was pertuding out and she was struggling to work far so took her to vets to have it taken out. She came back no bandages no medication, I had a look and it was just like a crater left, they didnt cut her pad but got it out without. She was sore for a few days but now able to walk on pavements but a bit limpy on the really rough tarmac. Fingers crossed it doesnt come back, but I will definately give her tablets again if it does as I think it made the corn pertude so was less agressive to get out.

I have a 10year old girl who's limped due to a corn on a pad. Vet suggested softening it with different oils, to no avail. Thought I'd give it a go with human corn plasters which I've applied over the past 4days and yesterday I was able to painlessly pick out the corn!!! Old girl now walks fine, no pain, no limp! I'm aware it may return but for now, she's a much happier girl and if it does return, I will do the same again!

There's a good closed FB group specifically for owners of greyhounds with corns which you can ask to join. There seem to be a number of reasons for corns, and different methods of managing them as not all corns/hounds are the same. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. You might find this useful. www.facebook.com/groups/Greyhoundswithcorns/

You must be very pleased (and relieved). Not many are so lucky as Salsa from what I gather.
