Hi,
I'm happy to arrive for 11am and stay for as long as possible. I may get my OH to come with Scamp the foster, but as he (OH) feels the cold dreadfully, he might not be happy to stay for long, more likely dropping me off and collecting me! Where are we meeting/pitching?
Vanessa Thanks Vanessa Update on it's way Just getting my postcodes right See you at 11am Do we all need carnations or will we be able to tell we're here for the collection by the silly festive outfits.......

For those able to join us in Manchester this Sunday 14th the plans are as follows: We're aiming to be at the meet up point (next to St Ann's Church, St Ann's Square, M2 7LF) at 11am. We've got 3 buckets, and will bring the permit, and leaflets to dish out to folk wanting them. We can stay until shops close, but it will be dependent on what the weather throws at us!!! You'll know it's us as we'll have hounds with us and we'll all be wearing something festive There are a couple of parking options: the car park we've previously gone to (the NCP at New Bailey St, M3 5FS, which is £9 - £10 for about 6 hours plus (I'm hoping they'll discount it as they have done for previous collections so I'll be phoning them tomorrow ) and is a 5 - 10 minute walk to where we're collecting) or one recommended by Eve (Dutton St, by the MEN Arena, M3 1LE, which is £2 all day and a 5 - 10 min walk to where we're collecting). If anyone coming wants my mobile number, message me

*Parking update* I've been in touch with the New Bailey St car park manager, and the old car park of that name which we've used at previous Manchester collections is no longer in use - it's now a new multi-storey, which charges £15 per day. The manager has agreed to discount any volunteers wanting to park there, charging us £6 for the day instead. He'll give me the necessary vouchers when we arrive, for me to dish out to anyone else parking there to redeem when they leave The other car park by the MEN is actually £3.50 rather than the £2 originally stated, so it's up to you lot where you decide to go.
