We took our lurcher to Jim's socialisation class at pear tree farm, Chesterfield way & it was really useful. It had a few non-sighthounds in the class too.
I had heard good things about him but not seen him in action to know his methods.It was reassuring to be in a class where your reactive dog isn't only one and by end of it all the dogs were much better around each other & we'd learnt some new skills or became aware of our mistakes. I'm not sure when the next class is but maybe look into a 1-2-1 too as its really about the things he teaches you to do & info he can give on your dogs behaviour, that you then practice in daily situations.
