Perry; currently living in Swindon Wiltshire.
I am 19 weeks old, fully vaccinated, flead, wormed and have been with my foster family for 3 weeks which consists of six other dogs (males and females) and 3 cats in harmony!
I am a very loveable little boy who is responding fantastically to training, I can do sit, stay, leave and my recall is good as well, I even recalled away from a family with a little puppy today for some liver. I love everybody, big or small and get excited when I see little people. I have taken every situation I have been put in, in my stride..I have been to the pub garden, the pet shop, different walks and have had lots of visitors round to see me! I have also been walking along roads to get used to traffic, I am not scared but a little unsure.
I need to go to a home with another dog as I am always cuddling up or on top of them and copy what they do, e.g waiting for my food nicely, recalling with them on a walk, sitting for treats. I am not food or toy aggressive and play lovely with my toys and foster brother and sisters!
I sleep in my crate over night like a good boy, no accidents on my duvet and love being covered over with a fleece to stay warm. As long as I am let out regularly I don't have any accidents but I do need reminding.
You may have noticed in some photos of me that I have a bent tail but don't worry, the Vet has diagnosed it as 'kinky tail' and will cause me no harm, I hold and wag it like a normal dog and it doesn't hurt at all. It is a genetic defect which also is accompanied by my webbed feet!
When I came to my foster home I was very underweight and only 8.4kg, after 3 weeks I now weigh a healthier 11.4kg.
Perry's current owner will very kindly pay for castration.
