Poor things, that's pretty miserable I do understand that some dogs are working dogs - e.g. collies etc. - and, I don't mean to be controversial...it was just very sad to see that they just looked so vacant at the centre. I'd thought it was just because of the numbers of visitors and the high hopes being dashed so many times, but I hadn't thought about the fact they'll have been treated purely as a working animal in racing kennels as the main reason. The rehoming centre did say something about wishing they could take in more than they were offered/asked to take in by 'the kennels' so 'the kennels' must be the racing kennels, so I guess they take them in directly from there. Very sad But it's good to know that they do come around and there's a silver lining
