He's still a bit wobbily on his legs and is presently lying in his bed uttering the occasional plaintive whimper. I honestly expect to see him drape a paw across his forehead.
Hopefully he won't have too much of a hangover tomorrow

God they're such drama queens aren't they?!
Our vet doesn't humour such antics - Nancy gets hers snipped off while she stands there when she wrecks hers (which is a semi regular event).

Problem is - he's so wriggly and bendy that despite his mere 15.2 Kg, 2 of us can't keep him still long enough for the half second it took to safely snip the claw

Hi, only just seen the update on Dylan's dew claw. Glad it didn't turn in to too much of a nightmare and the vet managed to tidy it up even if he did have to knock Dylan out for a bit! Hope he's recovered from his traumatic experience by now and is back on his feet. Sian x
