Hi its been a while since posting on here so I thought now that Lewis has been with us almost 8 months I would give you a picture update. He is the most lovable boy you could wish for. He is great company and comes everywhere with us. He has had 2 holidays in rented cottages and behaved impeccably. He was joined on one holiday by our youngest grandchildren and showed how patient he can be.He is still very timid of people but is growing in confidence slowly. If people call at the house I tell them to ignore him and he comes for a sniff in his own time. Once he has done this he will accept their attention and usually a treat! He is great with all other dogs he meets on lead.He loves cuddles and has us wrapped around his little paw! He has made this little family very happy and content...And yes Kevin he still wakes at 6 on the dot!

I remember Lewis from the Kennels, he was a beautiful gentle boy and he looks like he has grown even more beautiful now that he has such an adoring family. Its gives you a warm fuzzy feeling when you see one of the rescues, especially from the Kennels, blossom in their forever homes. Enjoy your life, Lewis, you gorgeous boy. xx

Well, well, there's a familiar face, and no Lewis I'm not referring to you, even though you do have a gorgeous, squidgable, kissable face
I'm actually talking about your dad, hello Derek fancy see you on the Gap forum, and what a lovely surprise, although I feel a bit of a dodo having taken so long to discover your whereabouts.
How come you two have bagged yourselves a Gap hound? Can I claim just the teensiest bit of credit for you heading in this direction, or is it just pure coincidence? Whichever, it is lovely to see you both looking so happy with your lad, and enjoying life. You will no doubt catch sight of our unruly crew from time to time, but don't let them put you off. Just be aware that Gappers have a tendency to say "one is never enough", so be careful.
Lynne sends her love (she's humphs on here by the way, although she doesn't seem to post so much these days) She and Colin have Gap hounds so we are definitely keeping it in the family.

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x
