This morning she got up and walked normally like nothing had happened! She still wouldn't walk down the street where the poor plastic bottle got run over though so we just don't go there. We arn't going for long walks either just around the park. We live in Leeds. Would be nice to meet up some gappers

That sounds like good progress! I'd avoid the 'bad' street for a while until she is confident in other places and extend the length of her walks in the 'safe' areas daily. Fingers crossed nothing happens anywhere else to scare her.

When I first got my hound he wouldn't leave the house at the sign of the slightest drop of rain. He was actually shaking and terrified, with time and plenty of treats for bribery I can now get him around the block in the rain no problem - sometimes he even wants to go on longer walks! Normally I just wouldnt take him out but on weekdays he is on his own in the mornings and if he wouldnt leave the house he couldnt have his morning pee, then he'd end up peeing in the house and getting very upset about it.
