hi i was just wondering if anyone could help me ... i rescued a greyhound on saturday afternoon and she has two very nasty cuts on her front and back leg and is very lame i have no room for her here witch is a real shame i would love to help her.. i have tried to ring the rgt see if they could take her with no look i can'nt get hold of them so any suggestions please im in derbyshire

it was doncaster seen her on the internet with cuts on her legs so went and had a look i couldnt leave her there iv looked on greyhound data shes not registered thank you for the number ill give her a ring x

There were sightings of a greyhound running loose in Doncaster last week...any chance the girl you have is that dog? If so, there was a rescue involved who might be able to help out - cuts to legs are consistent with a greyhound on the run. . .

What colour is the greyhound you've got? Just trying to work out if it may be the one that was missing last week. Would you also register the dog with www.doglost.co.uk - someone may be looking for it. |

Have you tried taking her to somewhere that could scan her to see if she is microchipped? Hope you find a solution soon  Maryx |

Mayflower sanctuary amongst others (inc us!  ) were out searching for the stray hound in Doncaster and would be happy to take it - what colour is this one? Doesn't really matter but would be good to know if this is the one that we've all been looking for or another stray - If you PM me your details I should be able to help with her as I have nobody in kennels atm  |

hi all sorry iv not been on .... she is a black bitch with a white bib and also she is irish bred iv looked on greyhound data and she is not registered ... the man i got her off also had her litter sister and is looking to re home her too i have been intouch with rgt and gave them her details and they are going to give me a call back today to tell me if they have room for her .... she is a very scared dog and her cuts are looking a lot better iv cleaned them up and they are healing well shes still a little lame but she will be sore ... thank you all for your replies Jenna

She look identical to Poppy our rescue...
I also saw this on FB and apart from the visual similarities she is of a similar age and from the last location i knew Poppy had raced.
Would you mind telling me her identity number?
