In serious danger of getting knocked over or running in to very open farm land....
Has been sited on Ledger Way and was heading down the road towards some woodland
Please can anyone help?

Tried but just got an answer phone so left all the details I had but .... To Update:- This poor dog is very thin - may not be a greyhound just starved - and is weak on his back end, brown or dark brindle and may already have had a bump with a car VERY scared Please take food with you if you are going looking and if he can be got into a garden please just secure the gate and call Mayflower Sanctuary 01302 711330 who apparently have also been trying to catch him today This boy has been too scared to catch and is VERY flighty...

Vicky and Tony also did 2 hrs tonight and Max went this afternoon and came back with her scent hound this eve ... no sign of him anywhere poor poor boy He seems to have been in the area for a couple of days so just hope and pray that he'll hang around and someone can entice him with some food It's such a busy road This boy needs help and soon so if anyt=one's in teh area please keep a sharp look out ... Bridgette, do we know this dog is still definately out there? Are there being regular sightings in a regular area? When was he last sighted?

Hi Lisa I was told that the dog warden is no longer looking and noboby I'm in contact with has seen him since last w/e but that's not to say he isn't still around there as it's a big area, lots of open space and woodland, as well as residential streets They thought he'd been feral for some time as he's survived a lot of very busy roads and roundabouts and was going round the bins in the park ... he really needs a feeding station setting up but I'm too far away If you can get someone in the area who could do something like that, that would be greyt

sadly unless the dog is being seen regularly in a certain area you cant set up a feeding station. There is no way of knowing the dog will come across it and no way of knowing its the dog taking it and not foxes or badger
