Tried but just got an answer phone so left all the details I had but ....
To Update:- This poor dog is very thin - may not be a greyhound just starved - and is weak on his back end, brown or dark brindle and may already have had a bump with a car
Please take food with you if you are going looking and if he can be got into a garden please just secure the gate and call Mayflower Sanctuary 01302 711330 who apparently have also been trying to catch him today
This boy has been too scared to catch and is VERY flighty...

Just back from Doncaster and have been all over the area and did a circuit of the woodland. Vicky and Tony also did 2 hrs tonight and Max went this afternoon and came back with her scent hound this eve ... no sign of him anywhere poor poor boy
He seems to have been in the area for a couple of days so just hope and pray that he'll hang around and someone can entice him with some food It's such a busy road
This boy needs help and soon so if anyt=one's in teh area please keep a sharp look out ... Thanks
Hi Lisa I was told that the dog warden is no longer looking and noboby I'm in contact with has seen him since last w/e but that's not to say he isn't still around there as it's a big area, lots of open space and woodland, as well as residential streets
They thought he'd been feral for some time as he's survived a lot of very busy roads and roundabouts and was going round the bins in the park ... he really needs a feeding station setting up but I'm too far away
If you can get someone in the area who could do something like that, that would be greyt
sadly unless the dog is being seen regularly in a certain area you cant set up a feeding station. There is no way of knowing the dog will come across it and no way of knowing its the dog taking it and not foxes or badger

missfleur2003: Hello. I am new to this site and noticed that the posts for available dogs seem to be quite old. Some seem to be years old. Are the dogs shown still available.

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x

dasherman: Hi, can anyone offer any suggestions as to why when it is sunny, my adopted ex racer is terrified to leave the house to eat or drink or anything for that matter? Seems to be obsessed by the sky?

kiri07: I have been concerned with my 7 year old greyhound losing hair on her thighs, but it looks like it is a normal thing. She's losing a little in a few other places too. I saw someone say something about vetzyme condition tablets? I also heard organic oat

steeveet: Hi there, just had our home inspection by a lovely lady with her Greyhound Arthur, who I could have happily snaffled as he was sweet and at home with our girl Belle. Does anyone here know how we now get to meet any of the dogs who need a home?
