Hi everyone just to let all of you know how Best and Debbie are getting on over here in Hull. We took them on just before xmas last they have settled instantly. Due to their past being hostle Best was very nervous ,Debbie however just wanted cuggles and walks. they have both settled well and now know the,re loved. Best has really come out of her shell and is a right daddies girl. thanks to Greyhound gap , Lisa and all who put hours of dedication into these beautiful animals i have two really good friends. Best and Debbie have settled better than i thought and i recomend anyone looking for a speacial friend to give these beautiful loving dogs a try.

Than you so much for this lovely update. It was just so nice to see you taking them home, it was perfect for them and you but they had become firm favorites with all of us at the kennels. I hope the girls continue to enjoy life with you for many more years.

I am so pleased so many people have taken the trouble to save all these lovely animals that come through greyhound gap. Debbie& best are two of the lucky ones and WE are so pleased we found them thanks to Lisa and the team. Best was so timid she now is coming out of her shell and knows how to get attention, She has a habbit of nibbling on my ear or smacking me on the back with her front paws. she loves to play wrestle when she,s in the mood but only with me. She is still very wary of women though so i wonder if a female in her past has beaten her. Debbie on the other hand just wants to walk she loves being out on the old railway track with Best and myself. When we fist brought them home I expected a bit of mess in the house but that has only happened once. Poor debbie couldn,t help that as shecollapsed against the door. when i finnally got in to her she tried so hard to come and greet me. after the blood tests done by the vet we found that she had a heart murmer but every thing else was ok. Trying to get Debbie to take it easy is like trying to get blood from a stone when she out she out to enjoy herself. Jan and I love them both to death and I,d be lost without them now, so thanks again to all at greyhound gap
