needs a new sofa through no fault of his own ..... he is currently in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Bill is NOT cat friendly, but loves people, large and small, walks well on a lead and is fine with other dogs. As you can see, Bill is a typical lazy male greyhound, and likes nothing more than lying around with his legs in the air! He is fine to be left for up to 3 hours, but starts to miss human company thereafter, so somebody working part time may be suitable. Bill is neutered and vaccinated up to date - if you feel you could offer him a wonderful home (homechecks will be carried out by Greyhound Gap) please fill in our online Pre-Adoption form here .... www.greyhoundgap.com/homing-a-adoption/pre-adoption-questionnaire marked for the attention of Liz.

Good luck lovely lad. Sorry I don't have room for you right now but there is nothing like an 'oldie'.

As far as I know he is still looking for a comfy sofa, Sue.

Obviously not an 'urgent' rehome then. Do you have any more details about him? Could he live with a couple of bitches, one a smallish terrier type and is he an off-leader do you know?

Not sure about off lead status, but I can put you in touch with his owner if you like? I know he goes to dog day care every week day, so will get on well with other dogs.

Is GAP offering backup for this dog in case of need?

No Sue - below is copied and pasted from the 'Please read' above Bill's thread .....
HOWEVER, it needs noting that Greyhound Gap can NOT be held responsible for temperament and the health of these dogs and its up to the prospective new owner to check everything out thoroughly before adopting. We will though be willing to offer advice through the initial settling in period.

OK Liz...thanks for the info. Guess I'll just have to wait till GAP get another golden oldie like our Sonny Sunshine.
