Google Adwords Grant

Hiya everyone

Just wondering if anyone has heard of Google Grants? It’s free advertising Google gives to charities. More details here: www.google.co.uk/grants/details.html Not sure if Gap is eligible, but it might be worth applying!

I also don’t know if it would be suitable for Gap (if perhaps you couldn’t cope with extra traffic to the website or extra enquiries), but I thought I’d mention it in case you were interested. Could be a good way to raise the profile of ‘pound for a hound’ campaign?

I manage the Adwords/ Google Grants account for the charity that I work for at the moment, and would be very happy to do the same for Gap if you think it would be beneficial!

Hello! I've just had an email from Google to say the account has been approved so is ready to go only took 3 months!

So... I'll just set up ads for homing and fundraising. Any other ideas for ads welcome (they're just the sponsored Google search results, so v short ads!)

We did our hound pound today!

Hmm, yes I think I can do this. But it will take a little longer as I'll need to send the different domain to Google for authorisation. I have done some fundraising ads leading to the Gap page, but will do a few more when this hound gets its silly foot out of my face!
