im putting down woodchip... but my tesse is a digger. i used to have a sandpit but she prefers soil. the little baggage. the lawn is a race track. and my lurcher spent a little while watching me plant bulbs in the winter... a few days later he dug them all back up. im quite surprise i have any tulips.

any major craters I cant stop her returning to i end up putting a rock or bricks in.

maybe when she goes out after she has been to the toilet if you want her to stay outside but not dig provide some out door toys?

Hope that works for you, but it could make things worse!! My Tru has never been a digger but I let her take a squeaky toy outside to play with in the sunshine yesterday and she promptly dug a hole to bury it, presumably so the boys couldn't play with it too. Just hoping she forgets about it and doesn't go digging all over the garden now trying to find it again!
