Hi all
I hope somebody can enlighten us, as we're a bit stumped.
We rehomed a lovely young greyhound girl (Tosca) via our local RSPCA last October. She was about two and a half when we adopted her and at that point was separated from a male greyhound she had shared a kennel with for some months.
She joined our existing pack of three (two boys and a girl) and all has been fine. She's quite settled in the house, apart from a little separation anxiety, which we're working on and is improving.
The thing that has us stumped is this - she has never been very keen on walking (!) but was quite happy to walk out. But she is getting more and more stressed when she goes out for a walk. She shivvers, pants and walks very slowly and nervously. This has only really come on in the last few weeks. She was given a clean bill of health a few weeks' ago by the vet, so looks like a psychological rather than physical reason?
Any advice, help, info?
She's not had any incidents whilst out walking, and no frights.
Thank you
Heather
