A frightening experience advice please

So glad you posted this as I had a similar experience with Max last week. He usually just runs in circles but this time must have put up a fox. I heard the truck toot- heart in mouth time and kicking myself. So back to short runs in safe area and a rather plump lurcher.

Linda please don't keep beating yourself up over this, as Wanda, Helen and others have already said it can happen to anyone, and has.

We have all had those heartstopping moments when we stand helpless and wish we could turn the clock back a couple of minutes. (It's even worse when, going against the rules, you let a foster dog off for a quick leg stretch and the little s*d does a runner. I have experienced that blind panic when you think "How the hell am I going to tell Lisa I've lost one of her dogs". (Sssshhhh don't anyone tell her for God's sake)

I will be keeping you in my thoughts today, and hoping that uncle Con is wrong for once and madam Tia hasn't in fact broken her leg.

Hi Sibs, sorry I put it in a thread in Chat.She's broken a toe in several places so is in plaster for 3 weeks.Not as bad as the vet first suspected which was the bottom of her leg.She's doing ok, charging around, whinging a lot and either trying to chew the cast off or putting it in her mouth and ragging it around like a toy. Its awkward for her to walk far so I'm expecting a naughty black minx to get even naughtier with all that pent up energy. Thanks for asking , I'm hoping to get some photos posted on Chat today.Was going to post action shots of the pair but now it will be woe is me pics.
