THE YARNS
I have chosen 4 of my favourite yarns for my hats - I love them and am sure you will too!
2 of the yarns are Chunky weight and 2 are Aran weight, and there are a total of 18 different shades, so that you can chose your favourite to match your wardrobe.
The Aran Yarns
New Lanark Conservation village is set in the beautiful Scottish Clyde Valley and has been granted UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
Here they produce top quality wool by traditional spinning methods in one of the old historic mills and even have a 19th Century spinning 'mule' in working order for all to see.

Types of Aran
There are two types of Aran wool available from which to chose.
Donegal Silk Tweed - A mix of 90% wool with 10% silk for an extra something special.
This is available in the following colours:
Aviemore
Bramble
Swinford
Dark Graphite.
100% Pure Wool
This is available in the following colours:
Ecru
Iris
Loveage
Sandstone
Clematis
Producers Care Instructions:
Gently hand wash in warm water.
Squeeze gently to remove excess.
Reshape while wet & dry flat.
DO NOT machine wash, as shrinkage and felting can occur.
