.....do they exist?! My oldest greyhound has a real thing for squeaky dog toys - he LOVES them! He is not allowed toys of any description because in rescue he chewed one up and ate it and had to be operated on! I just bought him one for the 1st time in all the years I've owned him thinking maybe he is old and sensible now - NO! He destroyed it in minutes and i had to take it off him. Now does anyone know if I can get a really tough rubber squeaky toy from anywhere? It has to squeak or he won't play but I think he would really enjoy some supervised play if i can find a toy that will stand up to his leathal jaws!
Hope someone can help xx

Kongs are very tough, I'm not sure if they do anything squeaky though. I'm going to check their website now to find out for you! OK, yes they do - www.kongcompany.com/worlds_best.html Worth a look!

Kong Wubba is what you need! The tapes at the ends have been chewed off but other than that, it's lasted nearly a year...which is a flippin' miracle in this house

Zac has killed every squeeky thing we have ever owned too! Until.. his chickens ( or they could be ducks...) Anyway, they come from pets at home , they are yellow / orange colour , squeek, cost about £ 5 and he has two and has never got the squeek out or killed the squeek with it still in They don't look that robust but believe me they must be

I have 1 squeaky squirrel that has lasted for several years now, despite concerted efforts from my 3 hounds & various fosters to destroy it. Normally stuff lasts 24 hours I bought it from Crufts & I have just looked on the label the company that make it is www.fatcatinc.com & it's one of the 'Merry Tail' range. Not sure how you get hold of them though.

I'll second the wubba kong. yes, a favourite here, when I got ours they were cheaper on vet uk than p@h but of course depends on postage, I was getting other stuff so got it p&p free. I got the large size, then the extra large by mistake, it's a bit big really

Archie loves his Wubba, but they only last about three months with him. He's on his third already! That's still better than most other toys, however, which seem to last an average of 4.5 seconds!

all of the above are great, I've got a bull lurcher and a couple of terriers that are wossits for destroying toys!! These are great and a super cheap price too!!! It's the Dr Noys ones you need to look at and you can order more squeeks from other places too!! www.ultimateanimals.co.uk/acatalog/Plush_Dog_Toys.htmlThey have a tough velcro belly then inside they have the squeeker inside another velcroed pouch. We've had the little bunny one for over 6 mounths and only just repalced the squeek. My only negative comment on toughies is that the sqeek isn't loud enought to get the dogs going.

can I just say that the Kong Wubba lasted about 2 days here!!! The cheeky thing just tore at it until he got to the ball inside, then it was all over in seconds!!
I'm going to check out some of the suggestions above, as my boy loves squeeky things too, but can;t have them due to the urge to eat them in 10 seconds flat.
