  I have a greyhound called billy for some reason since the very cold weather. He keeps looking ice in puddles, bird bath & also buckets, even there is no ice around. Does anyone have the same problem? There is a bowl of water down all the time.

Not exactly the same but some are just stupid and will drink out of muddy puddles rather than a clean water bowl He maybe likes ice pops  Gracie put her face into a large virtually frozen bowl of water in the garden last week and then flicked it all over her head  daft girl |

Barney habitually drinks out of the birdbath even if it contains thick, green slime instead of water I think he just finds the height very convenient Filthy boy ;D ;D Jo x |

Ellie prefers iced water, she is in heaven with all this cold weather as she waits to drink from their outside water bowl that is iced over.
I put ice in their indoor water bowl too as they seem to prefer it very cold, I suppose it tastes more refreshing, the same as us really an ice cold glass of water is better than tepid.
