I have a greyhound called billy for some reason since the very cold weather. He keeps looking ice in puddles, bird bath & also buckets, even there is no ice around. Does anyone have the same problem? There is a bowl of water down all the time.

Not exactly the same but some are just stupid and will drink out of muddy puddles rather than a clean water bowl He maybe likes ice pops Gracie put her face into a large virtually frozen bowl of water in the garden last week and then flicked it all over her head daft girl

Barney habitually drinks out of the birdbath even if it contains thick, green slime instead of water I think he just finds the height very convenient Filthy boy ;D ;D Jo x

Ellie prefers iced water, she is in heaven with all this cold weather as she waits to drink from their outside water bowl that is iced over. I put ice in their indoor water bowl too as they seem to prefer it very cold, I suppose it tastes more refreshing, the same as us really an ice cold glass of water is better than tepid.
