Aww poor boy!
OH prides himself in not cherry picking the dogs and we quite often end up with the "trouble cases" that both pets and other sitters worry about.
We're currently giving daily walks to an 8 month Great Dane who's parents cant handle him to walk him, poor boy - but he is very strong and excitable!
If we had someone with your situation we would take the time to get to know him in his own environment, walking etc before bringing him any where near our home.
I guess you just have to go with whatever you feel comfortable with.

I will deffinatley make enquiries about home boarding after Christmas. I'll obviously explain the situation first, and like you say get the sitter and Blue to meet up and trust each other first.
I really don't think he would go for anyone when he's not in his own home, but would hate it to happen.
He is such a brilliant dog with me and my husband, and has come on so well since all this happened.
