glad that it seems to be old age related rather than anything more nasty, just a point for the future with boys for wee samples i alway found the easiest way to get one was to get a sample bottle from the vet/doctors and tape it to one of the small green canes you get from a garden centre so you can put it in the flow so to speak without getting too close. With my old boy he used to have good days and bad days some times it was only a spoonful others it appeared to be a bladder full but either way he didnt seemed bothered in the slightest which made me feel better. Ref arthritis do you have a magnetic collar for him? I used one, not sure if it worked but at least it wont do any harm, mine was also given norocarp which is the same as rymadyl but under half the price and i gave glucosamine tabs for dogs from a very good online vitamin co - pm me for details. I beleive you can also get a coat with the magnetic stuff in for arthritis i will have a search online for you.

Glad to hear that things are becoming clearer with Dennis.
Our old Heinz 57 had similar problems when he was getting on. He went on Cortaflex and it worked wonders, so much so that after having gone off his back legs once on it for a while he was running down the lane with the rest of them!

Ah brilliant thanks for the advice everybody! Dennis now has a charming new bioflow collar on the way! He really does seem to be coping very well with it so fingers crossed we will have the old codger with us for quite some time! Thanks once again! Clare xx
