One thing you may wish to consider, over time, is another greyhound to keep them company! Apart from that, my 2 dogs like a nightlight but that may just be them, they're a pair of wussies. They hate laminate and don't do stairs, my lurcher has a fairly large turning circle so narrow passageways are awkward.

Laughing at the turning circle thing, Barney's is huge, he pretty much needs a whole room to turn And the big wuss hasn't ventured upstairs yet, even though he seems perfectly able to run up stairs at the park. I guess I should be grateful he hasn't gone up then decided he can't get down again!

Definitely NO lamiante flooring and only wood floor that is rough surface. I have had a couple of near misses with my greys on other folks laminate, fortunately just before I had mine done - changed my mind for lino that looks like floorboards!! Iam sure that property woman off the telly would hate it but the dogs love it, they can brake really easily!!
