I hope this is ok for me to post this here Guys?
Urgent, experienced and possible long term foster Mum/Dad needed for 2 year old Lurcher lad.
He is very traumatised at the moment, has healing wounds (stitches) from a recent fight and carries the weight of the world around on his shoulders. He is very nervous around people, flinches at most movement and he is breaking my heart.
He was rehomed by Wiccaweys as a pup of 11 weeks, and has just come back to us after 2 years.
I can't say anymore, because inside I am screaming blue murder.
I'm sure most people know the situation we are in at the moment, the tenancy being up on our property and our failure to find anything else suitable as yet. The last day of our tenancy is the 31st of March, and then Wiccaweys itself will be homeless. I feel so bloody useless.
If anyone can help with fostering this lad, please ring me for further information about him: 07905 203254 I will call you straight back, so you don't inccur costs.
He is going to be hard work, there is no doubt about it, but he is a beautiful boy, and he deserves a chance to learn that life and other dogs are nothing to be scared of.

Has he found any where? Hope that he has. While not (yet) foster approved though currently have two greyhounds, my Finn will only be sociable with other greyhounds, or greyhound-looking lurchers.
Hope that he finds a loving home soon. Keep us posted!

I'm happy to say Merlin has lovely new foster home, where he can concentrate on the serious business of learning to be a dog again.
