The delectable Patches has a lovely new home to go to back in South Wales and we need to organise transport for him on Sunday 18th December.
Looking at the map, Lurcherlot has sensibly suggested that the most straightforward route would be Ipswich across country towards Northampton, across towards Gloucester, or possibly even Coventry, where we can hopefully find somewhere to meet with his new family on the M5 or thereabouts.
Failing that, it will be down to London, M25 and M4, more straightforward but much longer.
I appreciate that it is the weekend before Christmas but would welcome any help anyone can offer please!

Which bit of S Wales is Patches headed for? There is someone I know of trying to organise a run for a GSD bitch from Norwich to Caerphilly. Would there be any sense in trying to combine the 2 or does that just make things more complicated?

I can help if you go the M4 route. I could pick up a service staion near Glos and take him across the bridge.

The GSD has turned into a Retriever, and I shall know shortly whether the two runs can be combined. Will keep you posted.

The two dogs can be combined - waiting to hear which route is favoured (A12, M25 and M4 or Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Oxford ish!)....... more later.
