Here I am in my new home by the sea. Some of my more "intimate" friends know me as "Finnbar"! I'm still getting use to all the new things around me, but I love meeting all the other dogs and their mums and dads when we're out on the beach. But the best thing I like doing (apart from eating and destroying squeeky toys) is stretching out on my bed in front of the fire - ahh .. bliss ;D.

Hi Sandra,
It is so great to see him settled. We met Finn at a "meet & greet" and he really was "thin!". He deserves a good home. Lovely to see the photos.

Thanks Sandra he looks so happy. Tried to give you a ring the other day will call you later this evening to catch up. Hello Finn ;D Hi Lisa Chances are if you ring between 5pm and 6.30/7pm we will be out walking except Wednesdays and Sundays when we go to my parents for tea so we don't get back til after 7.30ish. I went to a "do" last night so Finn had his first night staying at my mum and dad's house. Sounds like it all went well as they didn't hear him at all (once they figured out that he wasn't going to settle in the kitchen and that he preferred to sleep in the comfort of the living room! All I can say is I told them so). He woke my mum up at 6am with a cold, wet nose on her hand! (Better on the hand than in the face!!). Dare say he's been spoilt rotten by them. Note for Vicky:- No, you can't have him back. I know now what you meant when you said Finn wouldn't look back the minute he left your house. He got in my dad's car yesterday and it was as if I didn't exist! Half expected a little whimper at least. But I know I'll get a big waggy tail when I pick him up later. He's had loads of compliments. Plenty of lurchers around, but I've only met one other (smaller) greyhound called Gwen around here so people are quite interested when they meet him in the whole greyhound thing. I'll get some more photos taken (now he has his lovely new collar and long lead thanks to Anna - and I can stand back to take a decent photo). Very difficult to hold the camera and a short lead and get a decent pic. I'll post your collars back to you tomorrow, Vicky. Thanks for the loan. Take care Sandra
