As I write this Odie is flat out in the sunshine. . we collected him from Vicky yesterday and what a perfect ;D he is. He travelled all the way to Taunton (about 150 miles ) with Meg, who he had never met before, with no problems. He made himself at home straight away, investigated the garden under strict supervision from Meg and proceeded to scoff a pigs ear. Then he stole her chew and settled down like he'd lived here all his life. Later we took him out in the fields to stretch those loooooong legs. After tea they both flaked out again until last "walkies"before bed. They settled down together straight away and not another sound was heard. MOre to follow....

I just love this dog. He is just the sweetest lad ever. I simply can't understand why these dogs are so badly treated. Thank God for Greyhoundgap and all the similar organisations. I'd just like to say a huge THANKYOU to you all for the brilliant work you do, long may it continue. Odie sends lots of kisses too. Will post some piccies when I take some decent ones. (but don't hold your breath on that one). Anita.

Took Odie over the fields yesterday, got bowled over by Meg as they thundered past me. Odie was quite nonchalont when some young cows decided to have a sniff at him. I think he was quite impressed that some animals are actually bigger than him. (he was standing quietly on his lead I hasten to add). Today he has met some of "locals" at the park. Much swooning and petting by the other owners and lots of dog attention too! This boy is truly an
