Hello I picked up my new adopted greyhound yesterday.. hes ok a little unsettled.. had a really good first night considering.. didn't cry or anything.. hes a bit anxious amd walks around whining.. I feel a bit stressed as I'm trying to get him toilet trained atm and used to the cage n things.. im finding the change quite difficult at the moment.. any advice please? xxx

I'm sure lots of us here know how you're feeling at the moment - it can be really daunting for you and your new dog!
There's some great advice threads on having new dogs home in the advice section (under general) and the rescue your dog came from should be able to give you advice specific to your dog.
Be kind to yourself and your new friend as you work things out together and I'm sure you'll get loads out of this forum and lovely community!
