We are very pleased and excited and more to the point thankful to be offering up this wonderful chance! With massive thanks to David and Chip ( a very special Gap dog) for donating this wonderful 4 night break. Woodlands is a fabulous Countryside House or Gentlemans Retreat near to Settle Yorkshire. It sleeps up to 19 people in 10 wonderfully and tasetfully decorated bedrooms and the best bit DOGS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME! On top of this there is a fully equipped Drawing Room, Sitting Room, Dining Room and kitchen and much more. Woodlands is also lucky enough to be in the most stunning settting and is located within its own grounds. It does need noting that due to the size of the property Woodlands is not fully enclosed so due caution needs to be taken when allowing your dogs out. David has offered the oppurtunity for the lucky winning bidder to take a 4 day week break with a choice of the following dates 1 March 9 March 16 March 23 March Obviously you do not need to fill the house to bid and the highest bidders will win regardless. ALL MONIES WILL COME DIRECTLY TO GREYHOUND GAP. To win this wonderful mini break all you have to do is post below on this thread with your bid and then keep checking back! The auction will end at midnight on Valentines Day 14th February so why not bag your loved one this luxury chance to spend a few days in the height of pure indulgence. For more information on Woodlands please visit their website www.thewoodlandshouse.co.uk/

Just a query about this property, where are the bedrooms located. I am surprised no-one has already bid on this wonderful holiday. Come on Gappers.

Ted if you visit the website link above there is a floor plan of the whole of the house and lots more photos and information including what to do in the surrounding areas It is massive. However all the bedrooms are upstairs and I am unable to go upstairs these days due to bad knees and hips. . Anyway the bidding has started. I see it would cost £850 for a normal 4 day break. Plus Settle is nearly 300 miles each way from my home and I do not do much travelling long distances these days. Still I must say it is a great wonderful offer for the benefit of Gap who are getting short of funds these days due to the numbers of Hounds Gap needs to look after and take in. I assume it is one 4 day break that can be taken on any of the dates quoted, which the winner will be able to choose.
