Ask the universe and it will reply....... Cast your minds back to October when Gap took in 10 dogs- 4 lovely, lively cow print yearlings, a mum and her pups and two black lads, one of whom was called Olly and came on foster to Sheffield. Lucy and Andy have a patented greyhound revolving door and rarely keep their fosters for more than a few weeks: however, Olly thought differently and within days had swept a glass off a table and stepped on the shards, causing a tendon injury which necessitated him staying longer than anticipated. this meant that when I told Lisa we were looking for a black , male hound as a successor to Jet, there he was!! I first met him on 22 December - fell in love instantly and , joy of joys , he's a leaner! and somewhat bigger than I anticipated Had to wait for Q to come back from Ghana to meet him and we have picked him up today- at the moment he is pacing , trying to work out where he's landed, but I'm sure he will soon settle. I truly believe he was waiting for me to help heal the greyhound shaped hole in my heart and my life. The hound formerly known as Olly will now be called Guinness. Will take some photos later when he's a bit more settled. So dear Gappers, please join me is saying welcome home to the beautiful klutz who is Guinness. Help - he is obviously incredibly unhappy

I'm so pleased for you Kay & Q and of course Guinness So glad you weren't put off by his size. Our boy Nate was big and the loveliest greyhound you could wish to meet (he was black too). Well done Lucy & Andy Looking forward to the updates. Bev x
