Just a thought and I don't know whether this has already been done or thought about, but the Hospice charity I am with is having their yearly make a will week, don't want to be morbid but this is something that brings in a fair amount of money, what it entails is getting a solicitor or solicitors on board who are willing to do simple wills free of charge for a minimum donation to the Charity for one week in the year, obviously it works well because of what this charity is about, but not sure when it comes to animal charities, anyway just a thought for possible fundraising.

Legacies from wills are a great source of income for many charities. In my view a great idea.

Good money making project for GG I would imagine. I bet there's a lot of people who just never 'get round to it.'

Thanks Mary and Debs,if If I get any more positive feedback I can always send over the leaflets we are giving out to give some idea of what it is all about! I guess finding the right solicitors is the place to start and the way the Hospice does it is only one week each year, the advertising can be leaflets at fundraisers! Sometimes ideas from one charity can be useful to others, it is twofold really, people can sort their will out and also leave some provision for their chosen charity.
