The permit has arrived for a Gap Christmas collection in Liverpool city centre The hounds will be ecstatic to be able to dress up festively We are only allowed a maximum number of 8 on the permit, and have the following good folk coming to help: If we aim for the first 4 volunteers to maybe meet up at midday (Sally with Oona, Denise and Annie with her hubby), Fran & I will be along at around 2pm (no hounds unfortunately) til 3.30 at the latest, plus Karen & Colin will be coming along for the afternoon too with 2 of their hounds. Annie and hubby will probably need to leave at around 2pm, but that still leaves around 6 of us for mid afternoon. I'll arrange to pass 2 collecting buckets & the leaflets / permit over to whoever is happy to take them. Denise, would this be easy for you to do? Thank you all so much for helping out

Greyhound Gap are collecting in Liverpool City Centre this coming Sunday December 7th if anyone wants to come along and support us The first volunteers Denise (who has 2 buckets, leaflets and permit), Sally & Oona, and Annie & hubby will be hopefully meeting up at around midday at the junction of Church St / Lord St / Paradise St / Whitechapel (near Forever 21). Denise has no internet at the moment, but is happy for me to give her mobile to the other volunteers she's meeting - inbox me if you need it There are some car parks nearby, the closest probably being Queen Square multi storey, L1 1RH or St Johns, L1 1LQ (both a 5 minute walk). Google "Parkopedia" and it will show you all the nearby car parks, and prices. Fran and I will try to join you at around 1.30 til 3.30ish and Karen & Colin will also be joining us for the afternoon The permit is for the day, but make sure there are at least 3 volunteers at any time, just for security. I'm happy to collect the buckets from Denise sometime next week if you're ok taking them home (feel free to count up if you fancy it Festive attire is very much encouraged for humans and houndies Annie has discovered that the Liverpool Santa Dash is taking place on Sunday morning, so hopefully this will mean there are more folk about to chuck donations into our buckets It may also mean that parking / streets are busier, so take that into consideration too Looking forward to seeing you all, and thanks again for supporting Gap xxx
