Buster sadly needs a new home - he is currently in Malvern, Worcestershire ........ this is what his owner wrote about him ......
Meet Buster. He is a very loving and special dog. He had a terrible beginning to his life, I found him locked in a shed, lonely, very underweight and in a horrible state. Two years on and he is like a different dog. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I need to find him a new loving home. One where he can have lots of walks, attention and love. He still needs some training and needs someone who can manage his occasional bad behaviour. He loves walks and is fine off the lead, though if he sets his mind to something his recall is not great. He barks at every dog he sees when he's on the lead, he is very protective like that. He seems to get on well with most other dogs, he lives with a Chihuahua and is totally ruled by him. He has other dog friends he goes out walking with and is usually fine. However he can be boisterous and too rough, at times, when playing outside. Ideally he needs someone who can walk him every day, he loves to run. I don't know how he is with live stock as we've never encountered any.
He is a medium sized dog, he has been neutered, he is due for his booster injections soon. He is used to being around older children, however I don't think he would be suitable for a family with young children. He is fine to be left in the house during the day. He is fed with dry food twice daily. I am not sure of his age, the vet thinks between 6 and 8 years old. He is in good condition, he has had no health problems to date. Buster is not cat friendly!
If you think you can offer Buster the kind of home he needs, please fill in our Pre-Adoption form, marked for the attention of Liz, here ..... www.greyhoundgap.com/homing-a-adoption/pre-adoption-questionnaire
All homes will be homechecked by us.
