This is lucy, currently in Frodsham, Cheshire - her owner writes 'she is 12 years old,she is a very gentle and quiet dog, she likes to sleep all day, it is with great regrets that I have to part company with her, I am moving house and unable to take her with me - she would be great company for a older person 'Lucy is not too bad with other dogs if they dont hassle her,She goes off the lead but I tend to put her back on it if there is a dog around. She doesn't like it if she is on the lead and another dog comes stiffing round her she gets grumpy ........ she is great with children, I have 2 grandchildren and she is very good with them. Lucy really doesn't like cats at all, she is not destructive and as never damaged anything in the house. She is that gentle you could put a egg in her mouth and she would not break it. She is very lazy but loves a good run, and will bark only when you are playing with her'. If you think you can offer this lovely oldie a home, please fill in our Pre-Adoption here .... www.greyhoundgap.com/homing-a-adoption/pre-adoption-questionnaire marked for the attention of Liz. All potential homes will be homechecked.

That's not so big, I've got a 24 incher and 29 incher here so that does make her a bit of a tiddler.

I know of an elderly gentleman looking for another older dog after losing his beloved whippet last year - have passed details on and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
