To raise money for Greyhound Gap, Andrew and I are organising a Bluebell Walk in Wherwell on Saturday 4th May, followed by a afternoon tea in the Village Hall. The meeting point is Wherwell Village Hall, Church Street, Wherwell SP11 7JJ (opposite the War Memorial) at 2.15pm and the walk will commence at 2.30pm. If we do the full walk, it will take about one and a half hours. Dogs will need to be on the lead, partly because the landowner requests it in places but also because there is lots of wildlife around and we'll be on the edge of Harewood Forest and we so don't want to see our dogs haring off into the distance after, umh, a hare (or deer) as dogs have been known to disappear into the forest and never be seen again. Then we'll have afternoon tea in the hall where there'll be a raffle and book stall and a "Bring and Buy" - so if you have anything you'd like to sell to raise money for Gap, please bring it along.
The cost is £5.00 per (human) head, all proceeds to Gap.
Last year we had a lovely time, hope you can join us. Please let me know if you are coming, so we can be sure of having enough sandwiches, scones and cake!!

I'll definitely be there, plus one or maybe two humans!
