We've been invited to have a stall at Stoke Pride this year. Here is what the organisers have to say about the event Using the park’s beautiful back drop, Stoke Pride will be an explosion of colour and life. Our main stage will feature DJs, singers, dancers, performers and local Drag Queen acts. Beyond the stage filling the park with the party atmosphere will be street performers and dancers. Across the park there will be a variety of marquees for people to explore, giving the community the perfect opportunity to learn about services, make contact with organisations or simply browse businesses in an informal environment. The event will also allow organisations the opportunity to engage the LGBT community and promote themselves and their services to LGBT people and their friends, family and the wider community. Stoke Pride has become an eagerly anticipated annual event in the city which is enjoyed by all. It not only brings together many of the diverse communities that live in our city but attracts people from Derby, Crewe, Shrewsbury, Manchester, Birmingham and across South Staffordshire.I have checked and we are allowed to bring dogs, however, they have warned me that it is going to be noisy and loud with music and a carnival atmosphere so probably drums etc. They have said they will pitch us away from the stage but please only bring your dog if it will cope with noise, loads of people and loads going on
