Well 3 days in with us and Mildred has turned into a slob.. After being so impressed with how politely Midred eats her meals, this morning she somehow managed to lift her bowl out of it's stand, carry it through to the lounge and put it down in front of the TV!! ;D She looked most put out that none of her breakfast had actually made it that far (in a trail through the lounge and kitchen of course). Can't think where she got the idea of TV dinners from ...??! Helen - I am so sorry but I think Moose may have a case of unrequited love, whilst Mildred has definitely been missing you and your family, she seems to have forgotten all about her four-legged brother.. Definitely time for you to get Moose a companion who will appreciate his friendship Hope he's starting to feel a bit less sad Karen and Mark x

Ms. Mildred has been here with us for 1 week now, we are completely exhausted, the house is trashed and we are very very happy! Here is our little beauty curled up asleep (her favourite past time except at 3am!!) between our 2 sofas. She has brought us so much joy already, we are looking forward to our new lives together. Once again Mildred gets the last laugh.. Here she is in one of her more unusual sleeping positions, so we thought we'd snap a photo, but just as we did, she opened her eyes and her mouth, definitely seems to be laughing at us! ;D Oh dear we are not sure how, but she has taken over already..

Madame Mildred is now 100% part of the furniture... quite literally sometimes, we cannot get her off the sofa and out for a walk for love nor money (food) - although with the weather we've had recently we can't say we blame her!!
Mildred has started going to dog school to help with her socialisation and recall training and after being the dunce of the class in week 1, she is now doing really well (for a greyhound anyway!) and greets other dogs more politely in the street as well as coming to call more often than not!
Mildred has unfortunately also got a visit to dog hospital lined up, due to a lump that has appeared on her chin which has grown very quickly and been bleeding and troubling her greatly. She is having an operation to remove it on Tuesday 19th March and biopsies to test for what has caused it. (We've tried to upload a photo of it, but it's telling us the forum is over it's attachment limit).
Will update as to how she gets on.
Karen & Mark xx

Ah its lovely to read a new update on Mildred and she sounds like she is doing brilliantly, especially with the socialisation Really sorry though to hear about the lump on her chin Fingers crossed the surgery goes well and its nothing to worry about Keep us posted x Oh and about photos, we don't know why that message comes up because there is no actual issue with the forum capacity - but it is a message others have had too Please try again.....I'd love to see some new photos of your lovely girl

Great to hear she's settled so well. Everything crossed that the lump is nothing to worry about.
