Just when you cant squeeze another in! Her owner has died. Apparently her true age. Is in fabulous health and is good with cats and children doesnt like small yappy dogs but is said to be fine with bigger calmer dogs. She is currently in the New Forest Area in Hampshire and we can arrange transport.

We lost our lurcher last May, at the ripe old age of 14, and I thought that was good. Just beginning to be able to think about getting another lurcher now, but still grieving deeply, and wondering about fostering for a while to help heal the gap.. Dasher was an absolute darling, irreplaceable of course... but the gap is so huge, and maybe fostering an older dog would be a good way forwards.. what do you think? I have rarely been without a dog in my life, and feel in the next few weeks it will be good to foster.. youngest child now 20, no cats in the house, no other dogs, we live in Reading and Dorset, and I am only working short hours a couple of days a week...
