Hiya Folks, I know this is a really long shot as the date's so close to Crimbletide, but it's the farmers market that day so the town will be rammed . . . Anyone free by any chance if we can get a permit? Jo x

Would that be the same Bakewell where we encountered gail force winds and horizontal rain? Can't promise - but will try and be there ( I'll be the one wearing 7 layers of thermals ! )

We can't promise either at this point - but I'll be the 1 disguised as a polar bear and hiding along with you in the nearest decent coffee shop! Cath

Depending on work will hope to be there! Might only bring one hound though.

If this info helps at all with Bakewell, they have standard market day every Monday and it does get chocka, and I think the farmers market is also run either weekly or fortnightly??? Tracey (my wife) works in Cotswold Outdoor (next to the tourist information) there and they have a Greyhound Gap tin on the counter. If she's working that day, I'm sure she'll be willing to help out in providing tea etc. P.S. if you go there, drive over the bridge, turn right and go straight past the car park, a little further along the road is free all day parking. Its only a couple of minutes extra walk and will save you a fortune in Bakewell's overpriced parking. Hope this helps.
