Possible Blackpool street collection

Would anyone be interested in joining us to collect for Gap in Blackpool (prom and / or shops)?
I'm thinking sometime in the Summer hols (more crowds) probably August.

The weekends I'm considering are:
4th or 5th
11th or 12th
18th or 19th

If anyone is interested / free to help, please post on this thread which dates are best, and I'll stump for the most popular one (I'm not clever enough to do a poll ;D)
I'm hoping to submit the permit application at the end of this week

NB - there's another thread proposing the same date options for a collection in Windermere, Lake District too, so please don't get mixed up between the two (and I'll try not to aswell :

I am usually on holiday in Blackpool with the hounds first week of August so should be able to do the first suggestion for part of the day. I would have to bring the hounds with me though as I won't have anywhere to leave them, so depends on what the permit allows.

Application sent for Saturday 4th August - keep everything crossed

All permits for Sat 4th August have been issued (for the promenade), so I'm going to phone the council tomorrow to find out which dates are free. Fingers crossed we get another good date
I'll also have to send all the paperwork again for the replacement date, so it may be another couple of weeks til I hear back
