Ok I'll leave it up to our Fundraising Co-ordinator then. Haven't got quite used to not having to do these letters now! ;D

When I've done it with school kids we generally get £700-1000 a day Ditto our collections for the Scout Group. Another little trick is to position someone with a collecting bucket near the trolly park - you can get a few pound coins that way when people bring them back Moira x

Hope have done a couple of these and they are huge money makers apparently. We do them at school and the only problem we have is booking them in, there can be quite a waiting list for bigger stores.

Abigail, If we are available on the date, I can try to persuade my girls (kids) to come and look cute. My OH may be persuaded to take them around Coventry once the get bored, and I will get on with the packing! I will keep an eye out for the date, and let you know. I would be a sight that makes eyes sore in Gap netball kit! X Mary

I did bag packing a few Saturdays ago for another charity. There were only a few of us and we managed to make nearly £500. It's worth chasing up and maybe something for other Greyhound Gap fundraising groups to consider.

Hi Abigail,
I admire your persistence!
I will try to keep an eye out for whether we ever get a date.
X Mary

Hi Abigail, How rude on their part, and how frustrating for you! Classic excuses for not being open and honest with you from the beginning. I get it a lot at work. It might be worth contacting Morrisons about a supermarket bag pack. We are still down the M69 if you organise this or anything else. X Mary
