I'm doing a fundraiser in Nuneaton P@H (currently waiting for manager to get back to me with dates) and I would like my own set up like above for that and also to make any other future fund raisers I organise easier to set up because I'll have all I need. Anyone know anywhere good to get one similar cheap, including second hand? Everywhere I've found them so far are expensive!

Only thing I can think of is if you contacted somewhere like your local council for voluntary services to see if they have one they can loan you as required... because they ARE hideously expensive to buy (my parents business were looking into getting one but even they decided the cost wasn't worth it).

It may be a long shot but why not try asking on FreeCycle? People seem to get all sorts of stuff from there

How about a couple of cork boards and attach a couple of hinges yourself?

Hi Mel.. the one above was bought for a tenner from a wonderful second hand/damaged goods shop here in Buxton, it just needed someone handy (OH ) to repair it! ... have you anything similar near you? I also made this one, which is a wallpaper table £12 from B & Q which we painted with black matt paint, and put little rubber door stoppers for its feet. Its easily carried as it has handles on top and side. Then I made a bag for it

I've just managed to 'find' a couple of magnetic white boards in work They could be propped up and used. Happy to keep them and lend them as needed. No one knew anything about them so they are 'ours' now 2 like this Jo

Yes, thats the one The legs were only screwed in so took them off easily and the 'feet' we put on were just small rubber door stoppers available from DIY stores about £1 for the 4. I made the bag out some spare material and put draw cord through the top leaving a gap for the handle. PS Just realised you asked how paper was stuck on....I laminated everything , then stuck them on with double sided tape.

Then I made a bag for it what a brill idea, i`ve found a wallpaper table in church, its never used, it`s been in church a long time so i`ve had it, as you say, easily carried so this will be used for the may collection and i can use it for Rosedene, , excellent idea, thank you, never had thought of that,

I think I'll be doing the corkboard and paste table idea...cheapest and least stress I think! I've tried asking at work as we have LOADS of ones like in the picture, but no such luck...yet Is this what you mean by door stopper? How on earth did you attach them? I'm a bit out of practice 'modding' things, I used to do it all the time for the rats...but not for ages so I'm a bit slow on the uptake! I'm getting increasingly nervous/excited for organising my own fundraiser!

Yes Mel, like those but they have different sizes, I got the 3/4inch (thats three quarters ;D) and you need 4. They attach via a screw through the middle
