Will is a 2 year old lurcher, tan, male (neutered)
Will is a very sweet, loving and friendly boy. Will is such a character and so full of life. He loves going for long walks, playing with his toys and having fun. He comes up and rests his head on your leg so you can give him tickles behind his ears which he loves.
Will is house-trained, he loves being out in the garden and relaxing in the sun. Will loves to go for walks and travels well in the car.
Will originally came to the centre as a stray and we see that he has a strong instinct to chase rabbits. Due to this Will should be looking for a new owner who understands the lurcher breed and their instinct to chase and who will be happy to muzzle him walks, which he is used to and very comfortable with.
Will loves being with his family so would prefer for someone to be at home for him most of the day. Will would also prefer to be the only pet in the home and could live with teenagers.
Will is vaccinated, neutered and micro chipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice.
Toby is a sweet affectionate boy who adores people. He enjoys going for long walks, playing with his toys and getting lots of cuddles of everyone who knows him. He is very well behaved around children and would love to be in a home where he can be fussed over all day.
Toby is house-trained and happy to be left on his own for a few hours a day; he especially loves his home comforts as his favourite thing to do is to curl up in a big warm cosy bed.
Toby does have a strong instinct to chase rabbits and squirrels and is looking for new owners who understand the lurcher breed and who will be happy to muzzle him on walks, which he is very comfortable with. Toby can mix happily with some dogs as long as he is given time to get to know them
Toby is vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped and come with insurance and free behavioural advice
Shane is a 5 year old fawn lurcher, male, neutered.
Shane is a happy friendly boy who enjoys going for walks, meeting new people and sunbathing in the garden. Although he may look big and strong, he has a calm and gentle nature and everyone he meet say’s he is the sweetest boy they have ever met, especially the ladies. Shane is a complete gentleman and loves to walk happily by your side
Shane is a big softie who has been used to living in a kennel outside so is looking for an owner who is at home most of the time to settle him into a routine and work on house-training. Shane is looking to be the only pet in the house as he likes having his owners all to himself.
Shane does have a strong instinct to chase rabbits, new owners would need to know and understand the lurcher breed and be happy to muzzle him on walks, which he is very comfortable with.
Shane is vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice.

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x
