I've got a provisional "OK" for Gap to hold a street collection next January in Liverpool city centre, and I'm in the process of filling out a formal application. At present all Saturdays are free, but I'm thinking early Jan (Sat 7th) will be better as people will be sales shopping and spending their Christmas money. Also, I've been asked for a "letter of authority allowing us to collect on behalf of the charity and information leaflet on the work and aim of the charity". Does that need to come from a trustee / have other fundraisers needed to provide councils with one before, and is there a template? Will post when we get a confirmed permit - yayyyy!!!!!

I've sent the application form off anyway, so I can forward any additional info needed.
